I am sooo sorry for the late comment, I've been so busy. X_X But I've left a late comment on this in order to write something worthy of this picture...
When I first saw this in my deviantart watch, I couldn't work out if it was something I'd drawn already, (since you've captured the character perfectly) or if it was infact drawn by another. To my surprise, it was drawn by the amazing ablinadiamond!
I could NOT believe my eyes, and I still can't grasp how GORGEOUS this picture really is. 
I LOVE it to no end, you've captured Salinity's gracefulness perfectly and I cannot get over how you've coloured it. The blue sky, the birds, how her sash glows and the shading and details in her dress and hair...I just love everything about it! 
I can't stop looking at it and grinning like an idiot when I do. 
This is by far the best intepretation I've seen of her, and you've pulled her off so well in your style. This was definately a big surprise for me and I'm sorry I didn't comment sooner. But I love this to pieces, it's now my laptop background and I truly appreciate the gift art. 
You have alot of great talent, in realism, stitchpunks AND in colouring.
